Feb. 6--Business leaders breathed a sigh of relief that Saturday's showdown in Royal Plaza between government critic Sondhi Limthongkul and Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra ended peacefully.
About 50,000 people joined the rally to voice their anger at government policy and demand that Mr Thaksin step down.
