Feb. 4--Bata, the Canadian-owned company best known among Thais for school shoes and budget footwear, is adding more product lines to cover lifestyle fashion apparel.
Under the plan, the company has shifted its focus to renovate some of its Bata City Stores in Thailand to have the same look as other company outlets in Asia, in line with its "Bata New Look New Life" slogan, according to Alberto Errico, managing director for Bata International, East Group.
Additional products including leather accessories will now be available.
