Supachai takes over as CEO at UBC.

Feb. 4--United Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) chief executive Sompan Charumilinda has been replaced in the first major move since the telecom operator True Corp Plc took over the pay-television operator late last year.
The CEO's post was filled by Supachai Chearavanont, who is also True's chief executive, according to a company statement released yesterday.
UBC reported the change to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) following a company board meeting on Thursday.
Mr Sompan remains one of the eight members of the UBC executive committee and vice-president of the board of directors.
