* The story so far: Last month, K.--Cosmo's favorite fictional 20something blogger--had a series of disastrous dates with guys she met online. Luckily, her new roommate-turned-bedmate Shady was around to cheer her up. When their night of partying turned romantic, K. was concerned. After all, Shady was crashing on her couch and had just gotten a job at the same station where she works. Living together, working together, and sleeping together seemed a tad much for someone she wasn't even technically dating. Shady finally got his own place, but that hasn't stopped them from ending up in the same bed....

Friends With Benefits
Shady and I went to Jane's for Thanksgiving dinner after we got out of work yesterday.
I know what you're thinking. Spending the holidays with Shady, ham? Sure sounds like a relationship! Well, it's not. It was a gathering of friends who couldn't be with their families because of work, travel limitations, or general familial dislike. My pal Mami couldn't wait to get me alone to grill me about Shady.
"We're just friends," I said.
"You're awfully touchy-feely for friends," she observed.
