State Security Minister and ZANU-PF [Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front] secretary for administration, Didymus Mutasa, is fast consolidating his position as President Robert Mugabe's most trusted and powerful cabinet minister.

Mutasa has achieved a feat that has never been pulled off by any of President Mugabe's trusted lieutenants since independence from Britain in 1980 by simultaneously assuming charge of three cabinet portfolios.
