One Feared Dead in Police, Robbers Gun Duel.

There was pandemonium Monday night at Isolo area of Lagos as a gang of armed robbers who were operating at a petrol station engaged a team of policemen in a gun duel. At the end of the shoot-out said to have lasted for close to an hour, leader of the gang was gunned down while others escaped in two unmarked vehicles. Several persons among who were petrol attendants, commuters and motorists plying the route were reportedly injured as they fled for safety.
