Feb. 2--The final draft of the second master plan for capital market development was concluded yesterday with an aim to build stability and competitiveness in the Thai market to reach international standards.
Finance Minister Thanong Bidaya said the five-year master plan for 2006-2010 would increase the role of the capital market as an efficient fundraising centre.
The market also aims to provide better savings and investment alternatives.
"Market capitalisation of the Stock Exchange of Thailand will be boosted and its stability will be built," he said.
