Feb. 2--Thailand's life insurance industry is expected to grow by 10 percent on average every year to reach 288.9 billion baht in 2011, based on total premiums earned, Thai Life Assurance Association said.
Sutti Rajitrangson, director of the Thai Life Assurance Association, said yesterday that life insurance premiums were expected to make up 3.38 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) at the end of the national insurance master plan in 2011, compared with 2.41 percent in 2005.
