Feb. 2--TOKYO -- A skills shortage in the Thai electronic and electrical industry has become a major concern for Japanese investors, according to Suriya Jungrungreangkit, a deputy prime minister and industry minister.
Senior executives of Sony, Matsushita Electric Industrial, Fujitsu, Toshiba and Hitachi voiced their opinions to minister Mr Suriya during a recent meeting in Tokyo.
They also said they were worried about the development of logistics in Thailand.
