SYDNEY, Feb 1 Asia Pulse - Unwired Australia (ASX:UNW) has begun work on a wireless broadband network in Melbourne.
Unwired, which already operates a network in Sydney, said it had commenced its network build in parts of Melbourne today.
As Australia's second largest city, Unwired chief executive David Spence said Melbourne was the obvious choice for the company.
