PLANS by ConocoPhillips to build a liquefied natural gas regasification facility on its site at Seal Sands on Teesside are understood to be going through a feasibility study.
ConocoPhillips announced in December that it would be applying for planning permission to build the LNG facility and also a combined heat and power plant at its existing Norsea Oil Terminal. Suitable land has been identified on the site, says the company, and planning permission is expected to be complete by the middle of next year.
