BIOFUELS producer Tall-Oil, which has set up a UK storage and distribution facility for wood pellets at Teesport, plans to expand its storage capacity at the port from 7,000 tonnes to 60,000 tonnes in the next two years.

The Swedish firm, which launched its facilities at Tees Dock towards the end of last year, imports wood pellets from Sweden and the Baltic States and expects to handle 50,000 tonnes in its first year of operations at the port.

But, with gas prices soaring it expects demand to rise substantially and wants to lift its storage to 60,000 tonnes so ...
