Lopez-led First Philippine Holdings Corp. is targeting the contract to run the Subic-Clark-Tarlac expressway project as it readies the expansion of its electronics manufacturing arm.

Ernesto B. Rufino, senior vice-president and treasurer, said First Holdings is in talks with a syndicate of five to six banks as it looks at bidding for the operation and maintenance of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac expressway.

"We are still trying to arrange that. We will do this on the first half of the year," he said.
