As the United States continues to wage its divisive war on terror, the world is accepting the threat of terrorism as part of its new reality. Libraries, too, need to adjust their collections to meet the increasing demand from the public by investing in reference products that cover this vast and formidable subject. Their best bet may well be an online database that doesn't treat terrorism as a subcategory of political science but as its own entity--a product that is all-inclusive, incomparably up-to-date, and continuously evolving.
