In an initial reaction to the reports of a Hamas victory in the PNA [Palestinian National Authority] parliamentary elections, political sources in Jerusalem said that Israel will neither negotiate with Hamas, which is a terrorist organization, nor maintain any contacts with it. The sources said that Fatah's defeat should be a cause of concern for the Palestinians.
