I am writing this letter in response to your article "Risky Business" by Rin-rin Yu (September 2005). I was both shocked and disappointed in Aquatic International's integrity in publishing such an incomplete report. There are several problems with this article, such as the following: the failure to provide complete and accurate information.

Only partial information was stated regarding Adventure Landing's lawsuit in 1999. Adventure Landing's waterpark had never had a major guest injury up to that point, and has not had a major guest injury since. There also was no mention of the three separate offers to settle the suit by the plaintiffs' lawyers for less than $100,000 and as low as $9,000. Each of these offers was rejected by the park's insurance company. The park was not part of the decision.

Adventure Landing did not respond until now due to the fact that Adventure Landing was never contacted by Rin-rin Yu or any other Aquatics International representatives. By the way, I doubt that you will ever print that.
