Jan. 25--NEPTUNE -- The last students will leave Ridge Avenue Elementary School this year, and that property could one day be the site of 76 homes, including some low-income housing and some with home offices.
The township wants to redevelop the site of the school, which Mayor Thomas J. Catley said the school board has already agreed it would demolish.
More than half of the 76 units would be single-family detached homes with garages, under a proposed redevelopment plan. There would also be two multistory apartment buildings, and seven or eight "live-work units," -- two-story homes with first-floor offices for professionals…
