Power Amplifier targets mobile audio applications.(Audio Power Amplifier from STMicroelectronics Enables Longer Talk-Times for Advanced Mobile Phones)
Designed to operate over 2.4-5.5 V supply voltage range, Model TS4962 provides 3 W of output power into 4-ohm loudspeaker with 88% efficiency. Quiescent current with no input signal is 2.3 mA typ and standby current when powered down using active-low control line is 10 nA. Pop and Click reduction circuitry provides low on/off switching noise while allowing amplifier to start within 5 ms. Amplifier is available in lead-free, 1.6 x 1.6 mm square 9-bump flip-chip package.
