A startup called Tello has big ideas on how companies can communicate with business contacts via the Internet.
Tello's Web-based service creates a directory of employees and business contacts such as customers and suppliers. The service then helps companies locate those people and figure out whether the best way to reach them is through instant messaging, e-mail or a phone call. It also sets up Webcasts, where people can share documents.
The startup plans to roll out its first product, Tello Basic, on Monday. That's software that users download. Tello makes its money on the service it provides to go with that software.…
