Kanu's presidential aspirants met in public yesterday and declared that their ambitions would not divide the party.

Gatundu South MP Uhuru Kenyatta and his Eldoret North counterpart William Ruto predicted that Kanu would be made stronger by embracing internal democracy in choosing its presidential candidate.

It was their first public meeting since last week when Mr Ruto declared his interest in seeking Kanu's nomination to vie for the presidency.
