SOUTHAVEN -- On December 21, Helen of Troy Limited held a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new distribution center in this Northwest Mississippi city. This center will expand the company's eastern United States distribution facilities to accommodate the needs of the company's OXO International business acquired June 1, 2004, as well as potential needs for future acquisitions.

The state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution center will increase El Paso, Texas-based Helen of Troy's presence in Southaven to 1.2 million square feet from 619,000 square feet. The company is a designer, producer and global marketer of brand name …
