Swift Foods, Inc. yesterday said it will work out an amicable settlement with San Miguel Foods, Inc. over a P126.18-million collection case.
"The process will be set in motion through the court. I am confident that the court will go for amicable process and we are open to that," Swift Foods President and Chief Operating Officer Luis Bernardo A. Concepcion said in a telephone interview.
The dispute stems from a case filed by San Miguel Corp. unit San Miguel Foods accusing Swift of not paying for broiler feeds purchases between September 2004 and February 2005.
