A court has issued summons against Ms Winnie Byanyima, the wife of opposition leader Kizza Besigye and party official Jack Sabiiti for alleging that President Yoweri Museveni bribed two judges.

The two face four counts of giving false information and libel. They ill appear in court on January 24.

The summons were issued and signed by Buganda Road Grade One Magistrate Susan Kanyange after prosecution led by Ms Jane Kajuga told court that the suspects were not in court.
