International Bielefeld Conference

7-9 February 2006, Bielefeld, Germany

This event aims to be an international forum for library and information services managers. The core theme for 2006 will be "rethinking" the role of information services in the digital age. Among the presenters will be Lynne Brindley, chief executive of the British Library, a leading light in this field. There will also be presentations from the director of Google Scholar and members of the university libraries at Cornell and Stanford, both key players in digitisation.
