Jan. 15--Lincoln County school officials are closing in on a site and soon will ask county commissioners for money to build another middle school in the eastern part of the county. School board members approved an architect for the project Wednesday. Pinnacle Architecture also designed the new Lincolnton Middle School opening this fall.
