Jan. 13--The Salvation Army will announce plans today to build a $40 million Kroc Community Center at the former Budd Co. automobile and rail-passenger-car factory on Hunting Park Avenue. The religious organization would join the Temple University Health System headquarters and, possibly, a Trump casino in the former industrial complex in the Nicetown neighborhood. Major funding for the center will come from the estate of Joan Kroc, the widow of Ray Kroc, the builder of the McDonald's fast-food chain.
