7.20am Downstairs, effusive canine greeting, very cheering. Solitary espresso and BBC News while wife and children slumber on upstairs.
7.30am Hmmm, motorbike, or settle back in soft leather upholstery of luxury motor? Remember motor is expensively crocked and in garage.
7.31am Quick blast down Westway to 82 Baker Street (at strictly legal speeds, officer). Very invigorating.
7.45am Nourishing bacon sandwich in Blandfords.
7.55am Happy New Years all round with management team. We all sit round a big 'hub' table so it's a bit like an everlasting dinner party (actually a serious and successful innovation to ensure a joined-up, multidisciplinary team ethic).
