Ed Morris is set to quit as Lowe London's executive creative director to join the rival agency being launched by Sir Frank Lowe and a group of senior admen.
Morris, who is expected to resign next week, follows the pounds 50 million Tesco account into the new operation, where its creative work will continue to be overseen by the former Lowe chairman, Paul Weinberger. But Paul Hammersley, the former DDB London chief executive who is fronting the start-up, is still being kept waiting by two other would-be founding partners.
