A 24-hour race is no sweat
The ACO will require air conditioned cockpits (Competition, Dec. 19) running at 75 degrees during races? Tres French! How about: cool-suit, hydration, ventilation, training? What about drivers who can tolerate these endurance races without a/c? Teams shouldn't have to develop or buy a race-ready air conditioner they don't need. Testing days will include dialing in the air conditioning? Preposterous.

Meet your new Vette seller
Browsing ebaymotors.com I saw five new '06 Corvette Z06s for sale by dealers. I have nothing against eBay, but I'm angry with GM for allowing these auctions, where greedy dealers try to sell cars well above MSRP, when people like me are waiting for their Z06s. Why doesn't GM only permit cars to be sold to people who legitimately placed orders and punish dealers trying to profit via eBay?
