Users will hear plenty of graphics software news from vendors announcing products and shipping others at Macworld Expo, to be held in Boston next week.
* HSC Software will demonstrate Kai's Power Tools 2.0, an extension for Adobe Photoshop and other Macintosh-based programs that accept plug-in filters. New features in the $199 software will include an effects preview, an enhanced way to choose colors, and the option to preview a filter's effect on a portion of an image. Current users will be able to upgrade to Version 2.0 for $49 when the Santa Monica, Calif.-based company ships the product at the end of August.
