Jan. 11--Now that a North Dakota school funding lawsuit has been put on hold, area school superintendents said Tuesday they are eager to see what kind of changes the governor's new study commission will propose for school funding. "I think the big thing is it puts the Legislature back in control of school funding, and it creates a commission that would revise the school formula," Northwood-Hatton Superintendent Jack Maus said in a telephone interview. "Both of those things are good things for the schools. If it works out, it could be a win-win situation."
