Jan. 11--A story on the Dec. 24 front page incorrectly stated the number of reported auto thefts from a Pine Valley address linked to a wreck that killed two motorists on Interstate 77. One vehicle was reported stolen in 2005 from 2400 Longleaf Drive, a vacant house owned by the Charlotte Housing Authority. During that time, three suspicious, occupied vehicles were reported at the address. A headline on Tuesday's front page about the discovery of the body of a missing woman incorrectly reported where she lived. She was from the Sawmills community, near Lenoir, in Caldwell County.
