Jan. 10--A presentation on a task force's recommendations to restructure the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system drew mixed reactions -- and a lot of questions -- from a crowd of about 20 Latino community members who attended a public forum for Spanish-speakers Monday night. Task force member Astrid Chirinos led the presentation, translating audience questions and comments for English-speakers in the group.
