On 21 Dec 2005 approval was granted by shareholders of the Swedish biotechnology firm Doxa for Investor Growth Capital to acquire a new share issue, equivalent to 30% of Doxa's shares, for SKR 60 M, making it the biggest shareholder. Doxa has developed a ceramic, Doxadent, which grows alongside bone tissue and can be used in both dentistry and the treatment of osteoporosis. This material has awakened the interest of the world's biggest dental company Dentsply International and it is expected Doxadent will become the leading global dental material.
