Jan. 10--A positive economic outlook and the low valuation of Thai stocks are key factors attracting foreign investors to Thailand, according to analysts.
Alastair MacDonald, head of research at Finansa Securities, said the Thai economy would grow modestly this year and major concerns, such as oil prices and the current account, were less volatile.
"It's very interesting to look at the Thai market. We see a bullish remedy and the SET is likely to break out on the upside," Mr MacDonald told an analysts' day forum yesterday.
