Jan. 7--Khon Kaen Sugar Industry Plc (KSL) was among the top gainers yesterday on the Stock Exchange of Thailand as investors speculated that the company would benefit greatly if the Commerce Ministry decided to allow the price of sugar to float.
KSL shares rose 17.37 percent to close at 9.80 baht, in trade worth 300.82 million baht. In general, KSL shares are quite illiquid.
