Jan. 7--PTT Plc has earmarked one billion baht to expand its new-look service stations this year after prototypes in Bangkok proved successful.

Half of the money would be used to modernise PTT service stations, which will provide a full range of amenities and integrated services, and on the prototype station on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, according to Witaya Wangchitrarak, executive vice-president for the retail oil market.

The company to date has developed seven fully integrated service stations in Bangkok with an investment cost of at least 100 million baht each.
