Seoul, 24 December: South Korea cautioned on Saturday [24 December] its people about increasing threats of terrorism in the Middle East and North Africa, following a similar alert issued by the US government.

"It is recommended that our people refrain from visiting crowded facilities and areas frequented by Westerners (in the region)," the government's National Intelligence Service said in a news release.

The agency said it has received information from the United States that terrorism networks were attempting a wide range of attacks …
