Jan. 6--Thanasin Insurance has taken three new major investors on board as it seeks to strengthen its financial position.
The new investors are Pirom Priyawat, a former managing director of eastern Wire Plc (EWC); Panuwat Vorapityankul, managing director of JJ Land Development; and Chatri Sophonbannarak, the chairman of the Chatuchak market traders' club.
Thanasin Insurance, formerly named Patrara Insurance, was formerly controlled by Surasak Kaitkumjonyod. The company had been suffering from liquidity problems which has led to a bid to increase its capital from 55 million to 405 million baht to clear debts. The ...
