Jan. 6--CHIANG MAI -- L.P.N. Development Plc plans to launch five new projects worth 8.5 billion baht, with an aggressive pricing strategy to capture the lower-end condominium market with units priced from 500,000 baht this year.

According to managing director Tikhamporn Plengsrisuk, the company last year recorded sales of about seven billion baht, a rise of 60 percent from the year before.

The company currently claims a share of 31 percent in the condominium market, with its focus on moderately priced units in large-scale and high-rise buildings in prime locations.
