Jan. 6--Seven people, including three existing senior executives of Thai Airways International, are seeking the post of chief executive at the national carrier but authorities are reportedly not impressed with the credentials on offer.

Details of four outsiders who submitted their applications by the Dec 30 deadline were not disclosed but sources said they had backgrounds in finance while the insiders are executive vice-presidents.
