Readers don't dispute the Lotus Exige's on-track prowess, but some find the car's pocket-rocket dimensions a cause for concern.
The Exige has the right power-to-weight ratio, Toyota engine reliability and the right price, but it is reminiscent of 1960s-era Japanese design. In a word, ugly. I would buy one only if I was blindfolded and told how well it starts, accelerates, handles and stops.
