Jan. 5--The Energy Ministry and transport bodies want to limit the use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for vehicles and encourage the use of natural gas for vehicles (NGV) instead.
A source from the Energy Ministry revealed that the initiative would be on the agenda of a national energy policy committee meeting this month.
Currently, approximately 80,000 taxis in Bangkok.
However, other drivers have also expressed an interest in using LPG, which means increasing pay-outs for companies and the government in subsidising the fuel.
