TIM Participacoes had a nice run up the chart this fall after clearing a long base in September. It's pulled back in recent weeks and seems to be forming a flat base.
The Brazil-based company provides mobile telecommunication services to states in southern and northeastern Brazil.
Its earnings growth has ranged from 30% to 106% the past three quarters. But analysts surveyed by First Call expect the pace to slow in the fourth quarter and predict year-over-year earnings will decline 37%. Still, 2005 full-year profit is expected to come in 19% above 2004.
