WORK UNDERWAY ON EMBANKMENT IN AFGHANISTAN'S LAGHMAN.
MEHTARLAM, Jan 2 Asia Pulse - Work has started on the embankment of a river in Alingar district in the eastern Laghman province.
Spokesman for Governor of Laghman Dr Hizbullah told Pajhwok Afghan News the 525 metre bank would be building on the river of Alingar in Mullhayano village.
He said that US$13 million would be spent on twelve uplift projects in the province.
