Dec. 29--ANTIOCH -- Cathy Howell met her husband, Rick, at the Antioch Senior Center on Second Street. He was standing at the pool table holding a cue when he asked for her number. She said, "I don't give my number to strangers." He grinned and said he wasn't interested in being a stranger -- and that he would teach her how to play pool. She never learned, but five years and dozens of dates later, she married Rick -- at the center. "He's still over there playing pool," said Cathy, pointing to a tall, white-shirted, cue-bearing man across the room. "Just like the day I met him." Lives unfold …
