Watch out, Michelle Wie. Next year another young Asian female is set to turn the world of golf on its head. Ai Miyazato, a 20-year-old sensation from Okinawa, Japan, recently won a qualifying LPGA tournament in Florida by a staggering 12 shots. A few more performances like that could elevate her to the moneymaking ranks of fellow Japanese sports stars Ichiro Suzuki and Hideki Matsui. In Japan, the charismatic, 1.55-meter Miyazato already commands the kind of celebrity associated with Tiger Woods. With 12 tournament victories under her belt and endorsement deals for everything from Mitsubishi air conditioners to Japan Airlines, she has become the "it" girl in Japanese sports.
