KUALA LUMPUR: The brother of one of the four Malaysian women who went missing since 1978 has given up hope of finding her.

Yeng Ah Weng, 50, said he last heard from his sister, Yoke Fun, about three months before she disappeared.

"She was working as a maid in Kuala Lumpur then.

She called me from her employer's home and that was the last time I heard from her," said Ah Weng, the eldest of six siblings.

Ah Weng, from Cheras, turned up at the MCA Public Complaints and Service Department here after the media reported that his sister had been spotted in North Korea between 1980 and 1982. …
