Gunn Elementary School principal Evon Gutierrez, Ms. G to her students, has been in education for 38 years and could open a shop with all the cups, potpourri and candles she's hauled home at the holidays. Last December, the principal laid down a new law: As much as she appreciated them, she wanted no more gifts.
