President Museveni Leads Opinion Polls in Kampala.

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni would win Kampala in a presidential election right now, but would have a tougher time in upcountry towns, according to an opinion poll just conducted by The New Vision.

The opinion poll did not cover rural areas where support for President Museveni and the NRM is strongest.

One possible explanation for President Museveni's lower than expected ratings would be general opposition to the Court Martial trying civilians which extends even to the majority of NRM supporters.
